BFAP Assessment on the Possible Impacts of EU Green Deal Polices on SA Agriculture

In November 2024, CropLife SA and Africa Middle East hosted an information session to explore how South African agriculture can remain relevant in a world of changing trading standards. Of particular importance were the results of an impact assessment conducted by the BFAP about the possible impacts of the EU Green Deal’s Farm to Fork policies on South African agriculture, focusing on four key crops in the area, namely citrus, table grapes, pome fruit and maize.
